The Little White Church has had an interesting past and has served many congregations in various capacities from a place of worship to a schoolhouse. Nevertheless, over the years, it had suffered from neglect as it stood empty without a congregation or a caretaker.

Fortunately however, the Palmerton Area Historical Society has taken up the mission of restoring this local treasure and has begun to breathe new life into this historic church. The Society has pursued funding for renovating both the structure and the cemetery and has made the sanctuary available to the public for private celebrations and weddings, in addition to annual nondenominational Christmas Services.
