The Palmerton Area Historical Society wishes to pay tribute not only to those who settled the area, but also to those who have contributed to making the Palmerton Area a great place to live and grow. As such, the PAHS would like to make you aware of several ways in which you can acknowledge someone worthy of recognition.
With its preservation, the Little White Church offers the perfect venue for paying a lasting tribute to a person or an organization through recognition that is an official part of the historic record.

TRIBUTE PLAQUES:
The Tribute Plaques hang in the vestibule of the Little White Church for all to see upon entering through the front door. Each plaque has three columns of brass plates mounted on walnut finished wood.

TYPES OF PLAQUES:
~~~~~ IN MEMORIA - In memory of individuals who have passed away.
~~~~~ IN HONOR- In honor of individuals who are still alive.
Provision is made to display the binder containing the Palmerton Area Historical Society's Official Tribute Document detailing the following information:

~~~~~ Name of Person receiving Tribute
~~~~~ Reason for Tribute ( For Honor Tribute Only)
~~~~~ Name of Person or Organization paying Tribute
~~~~~ Date of Tribute

TRIBUTE ITEMS:
Tribute Items can be found anywhere in and around the Little White Church; they include but are not limited to items such as the following:
~~~~~ PRINTED MATERIALS - Brochures, Pamphlets, Programs
~~~~~ FURNISHINGS - Wall Clock, Shelving Units, Area Rugs / Carpeting
~~~~~ SERVICES - Organ Tuning, Lawn Care, Snow Removal
These are but a few ideas for Tribute Items, we welcome your suggestions as we know the possibilities are endless. HOWEVER, please keep in mind that the Palmerton Area Historical Society reserves the right for final approval on all items, as it is imperative that the PAHS maintains the historic integrity of the Little White Church.
By financing an item that would enhance the Little White Church, you play a role in promoting the PAHS's mission. Tribute Items not only recognize a person or an organization, but also serve the Palmerton Area Historical Society's Mission to preserve history and serve the public by making the Little White Church more amenable to the public.
